The Review Itself
The Talismoon Car Cradle came today and i was eager
to try this since the first time i spotted the press
release on the internet, now a Car Cradle for me must
be strong and well made and keep the PSP firmly and
safely in its place and be able to be used for say movies
at the moment and later and more exciting the GPS addon.
The Car Cradle came in an easy to open Blister Pack,
the cradle came in 2 pieces the sticky to windows bit
and the PSP Holder, on the back of the pack there was
some clear instructions on how to assemble the Car cradle,
basically it clicks together, so very easy for anyone
to use.
The Cradle Sticky part/stem was black in colour and
the quality is evident, it seems very durable and not
easy to snap, Bending the Stem to work at different
angles is more for a strong person with gentle hands
so i gave it some pulling about and it bent into different
positions nicely.
Next it was onto how well the PSP fits and i must say
that it fitted perfectly, taking it on and off the Car
Cradle will not cause any problems to either the PSP
or the Cradle, the rigid plastic of the actual part
that holds the PSP is curved so scratching shouldnt
be a factor at all.
Ok its time for the real test, on the packet the Talismoon
says it fits to the Dashboard or Window, well i can
say that on my Passat it certainly does not fit to the
dashboard at all so i cant verify it does for anyone.
Now fixing to the window is another thing, if you wet
the bottom of the sticky/sucker part it will connect
and hold itself to the window very strongly, i gave
it a drive around with the PSP attached for a few miles
around the bumpy roads of Nottingham and the PSP remained
still at all times, which is very important.
Comments
Talismoon have released what must be one of if not the
best Car Cradles so far for the PSP, only gripe i had
is that it wouldnt fit to Dashboard but apart from that
its the perfect Car Cradle and at the price of under
20 Dollars its a must have and with the GPS addon arriving
any moment then this is the perfect additional by when
you purchase the GPS Addon, if the GPS features full
Satnav software then youl be very happy you brought
it
So my recommendations are
Overall i would give it a 9 /10 , once the GPS addon
comes out you will all want this for sure...
