Has anyone had any luck getting it to work on 2.0? I've been trying, but can't get it to work with the Eboot. Maybe someone else has figured out a work-around?
Massa84 has updated his PSP Universal Remote to version 1.2.
This is an excellent program to use your PSP as a remote controller:
Heres Whats New:
Assign a specific command to every button
choose the command you want to assign, then press square, you will be prompted to press the wished button. Press a button and you are set.
Save & load profiles (up to 6 profiles)
Press select to select profiles. Triangle to save on the slot, cross to load from it.

I loaded it on a 1.50, and it says goodbye an goes to the main menu screen.
Looking good, thanks alot massa, its great! Do you know when you will be able to incorporate the learning feature? that would top the iceberg completely and utterly. I have loads of ideas for a remote IR application but they're useless since I don't do programming, so I am grateful to the people who can code stuff like this, its ace!
Ta!
It's not going to work on 2.0 or higher anytime soon, cronnos, because it's a kernel-mode app and only user-mode stuff works with the 2.0 loader.
You need to download the remotes...I believe there is a rather large directory on winlirc's website...Originally Posted by moogster66

^ dload all that crap and place the "remotes" folder in the root directory of the memory stick.
the 1.1 update is all the latest remotes 1, 2 if you hit triangle in the default mode (like you just loaded the program) it happens to be the 'exit' button and is SUPPOSED to say goodby and exit. RTFM!
This is a good app, and fun too lol. The learning feature would be great.
Thanks and keep up the good work.
thanks a lot for making this!
just think of all the pranks in the classroom
Yeah, uhh...theyre the same remotes as the link I posted just in rar form...merely there for convenience it seems. And he was saying that it never got to the main menu, it just opened the black screen that said "Goodbye" meaning that the remotes folder did not exist, it had nothing to do with the triangle button.Originally Posted by urherenow
