Whether its budget price DLC’s or full price Sim-extravaganza’s, everywhere you look there’s a hoard of Sims games clogging up the charts.
In the full price PC top ten alone, there was six The Sims 3 entries. A further three entries appeared in the budget price charts, and remember this is only the elite top ten, a further three budget priceSims titles appeared in the rest of the top 40.
So what is it about The Sims that PC gamers just can’t get enough of? Is it the ever expanding world in which you can live your life through or the very cleaver marketing by EA to deliver content that appeals to every kind of player?
With The Sims 3 and all its expansion packs and add-ons making up almost half of the budget and full price PC top tens, PCR would love to know what it is about the franchise that makes it one of the most popular series of all time.
