Saints Row 2 squares up to GTA

A new Saints Row 2 trailer couldn't possibly be any worse than the last one released, and this time around we're being treated to in-game action rather than squiggly lines and dialogue.

You can watch the trailer, which runs for two minutes, in our video player. Can this really stand up against GTA IV?

On top of the trailer, THQ's released four new screenshots into the wild, which we've included here for a Saints Row 2 media medley.

The sequel's just been slapped with an August 29 release date for the UK.

Hey it just moved from my "maybe" to "no buy" list. awesome work....blah

They should get a new trailer director or... make a good game. maybe they should wait for the release of GTAIV and copy that, worked the first time
