News From Lik Sang (http://www.lik-sang.com/news.php?artc=3583&&lsaid=219793) [br][br]The neon-lit nitro-powered beasts of Need for Speed Underground: Rivals have hit the streets, literally. This portable PSP edition boasts many new additions, proving it's anything but a cut down port. Career mode has quick runs plus battle races, which includes street racing, drags, plus all new drift attack and nitrous run modes. Another new mode added to the mix of knockout, tournaments and time trial choices is the rally relay. Two cars per team, two laps per race, as seen in 2 Fast 2 Furious. One does the first, then the second car gets tagged and rips round the last lap.[br] [br]Various Wi-Fi modes have also been included, and you'll soon find your rivals with winners of multiplayer races being branded "champ", and the loser "owned". The only way to flip one of your "owned" stamps around is to take on the same person again and win. With their pride at stake, you can bet they'll want another shot at ya, and that's where the rivals system comes in. Of course then the single player mode can help you keep your edge with reward points that can be spent upgrading your cars in terms of both performance and style. The Japanese version is out this Thursday, then the US release, being a launch title, trails by just a month from now.
