Nintendo 3DS has been out for less than a week and it seems it has already been hacked by the good ole R4 Revolution Flash Cart. Did Nintendo let this be easily done on purpose or failure on Nintendo's part?

You can purchase the R4i from Acekard.ca (http://www.acekard.ca/?AffId=6), LightTake (http://www.lightake.com/detail.do/sku.34732~C.IOOAM102312010ANEWC) and LighTake (http://www.lightake.com/detail.do/sku.34731~C.IOOAM102312010ANEWC) (Wood version).

I think we can be fairly certain this was not on purpose.

Not that surprising really since it's running in DS mode, but big question is it so easy to hack in 3DS mode and get full access?

It's fake! The person in the video just drops it behind the 3ds, and doesn't really press anything on the 3DS either... look closely and you will see.

flash carts are working in DS Mode, very surprising, i thought nintendo would fix it personally before launch

Nintendo will surely do an update soon, one that will ultimately kill the use of these for a few weeks.

can they stop it on DS Mode, yeah DSI mode has a firmware but surely DS Mode will not be stopped by nintendo.

i still think the 3DS will be hacked before long.
