Skyrim is receiving a premium edition retail release, at least for select countries.
A listing on Amazon Germany (http://www.amazon.de/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85Z%C3%95%C 3%91&url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Skyrim+Premium&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3ASkyrim+Premium&ajr=0) points to a December 7th launch for the re-release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
Along with the game, extra goodies such as a map, t-shirt, postcards, an Elder Scrolls novel, and a PC bonus disc that contains trailers, walkthroughs, music, and a 600-page strategy guide in the form of an e-book will be packed in.
Mention of any of the game’s DLC is nowhere to be found in the listing.
Bethesda has confirmed the validity of the premium edition toJoystiq (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/29/skyrim-premium-edition-planned-for-certain-european-territories/), adding that for now it will only be made available in ‘certain’ territories in Europe including Germany and UK.
